Bacon Wrapped Halloumi Cheese is a delicious and easy-to-make keto friendly recipe. It combines the salty, smoky flavor of bacon with the unique, semi-hard texture of halloumi cheese. This dish is perfect for a quick snack, appetizer, or even a main course.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 8 slices of bacon
- 8 slices of halloumi cheese
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Wrap each slice of halloumi cheese with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Add the wrapped halloumi to the skillet and cook until the bacon is crispy on all sides. This should take about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with black pepper to taste. Serve warm.
