- 1 large cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the parmesan cheese, almond flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the beaten eggs, then coat in the cheese and almond flour mixture. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and top each floret with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
