  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties and set aside.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and cook for about 5 minutes, or until they are tender.
  6. Add the heavy cream and grated cheese to the skillet. Stir well and cook for a few more minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is thick.
  7. Pour the cream sauce over the cooked patties and serve.
