This is a delicious and hearty keto friendly recipe that combines the flavors of broccoli, cauliflower, and sausage in a creamy gratin. It's perfect for a comforting dinner or a side dish.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 lb sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Steam the broccoli and cauliflower until they are just tender, about 5 minutes.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage until it is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the steamed broccoli and cauliflower, cooked sausage, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and salt and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the top with the Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
