- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups broccoli, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the broccoli and chicken broth to the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until the broccoli is tender.
