Brussels Sprouts and Bacon in a Creamy Parmesan Sauce is a delicious and nutritious keto friendly dish. It combines the flavors of Brussels sprouts, bacon, and parmesan cheese in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb of fresh Brussels sprouts, halved
- 6 slices of thick-cut bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Place the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly charred.
- While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add the roasted Brussels sprouts and cooked bacon to the skillet and stir until they are coated in the sauce.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
