(kas-kar-il'-ah) [Sp., dim. of casca, bark]. The bark of Croton eluteria, native to the Bahama Islands, an aromatic bitter, increasing the natural secretions of the di- gestive organs. Unof . Cascarillae, Infusum (B. P.). Dose 1-2 oz. (30-60 Cc). Cascar- illae, Tinctura (B. P.). Dose J-2 dr. (2-8 * Cc).
