Chorizo Creamed Green Cabbage is a delicious, keto-friendly dish that is easy to prepare and packed with flavor. This recipe serves 4.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb Chorizo sausage
- 1 head Green cabbage
- 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the chorizo to the pan and cook until browned.
- Remove the chorizo from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
- Chop the green cabbage into thin strips and add to the pan. Cook until the cabbage is tender.
- Return the chorizo to the pan and add the heavy cream. Stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for a few minutes until the cream has thickened.
- Serve hot.
