This is a delicious and healthy keto friendly recipe for crabs stuffed with tomatoes, basil, and hazelnuts. It's a perfect dish for those who are on a ketogenic diet and love seafood.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 4 large crabs, cleaned and shells reserved
- 2 cups of tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup of fresh basil, chopped
- 1/2 cup of hazelnuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, and chopped hazelnuts.
- Add the olive oil to the mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stuff the crab shells with the tomato, basil, and hazelnut mixture.
- Place the stuffed crab shells on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the crabs hot, garnished with extra basil if desired.
