Fresh Creamed Spinach[edit | edit source]
Fresh Creamed Spinach is a delicious and nutritious keto friendly dish. It is a perfect side dish for any meal and is packed with vitamins and minerals.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 lbs of fresh spinach
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Wash the spinach thoroughly and remove the stems.
- Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
- Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the spinach is creamy.
- Serve hot.
