This is a delicious and healthy keto friendly recipe for Green Beans with Garlic and Almonds. It's a perfect side dish for any meal and is packed with nutrients.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb of fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of almonds, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Start by trimming the ends of the green beans. Rinse them under cold water and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until it becomes fragrant.
- Add the green beans to the skillet. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the beans are tender but still crisp.
- While the beans are cooking, toast the sliced almonds in a separate pan over medium heat. Be sure to stir them frequently to prevent burning.
- Once the almonds are toasted, add them to the skillet with the green beans and garlic. Stir everything together and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the green beans with garlic and almonds warm.
