A delicious and healthy keto friendly recipe, Green Beans with Roasted Onions and Cream of Mushroom Sauce is a perfect side dish for any meal.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb Green beans
- 2 medium Onions, sliced
- 1 cup Cream of mushroom soup
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Toss the onions with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them out on a baking sheet.
- Roast the onions in the preheated oven until they are golden brown and crispy, about 20-25 minutes.
- While the onions are roasting, blanch the green beans in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- Heat the cream of mushroom soup in a saucepan over medium heat until it is hot.
- Combine the green beans and cream of mushroom soup in a large bowl. Add the roasted onions and toss to combine.
- Serve the green beans with roasted onions and cream of mushroom sauce warm.
