Grilled Tuna Salad with Garlic Dressing[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 tuna steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups mixed salad greens
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
For the Garlic Dressing[edit | edit source]
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Brush tuna steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill tuna for 2-3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
- In a large bowl, combine salad greens, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
- In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle dressing over salad and toss to combine.
- Top salad with grilled tuna and serve immediately.
