Homemade Almond Butter[edit | edit source]

Homemade almond butter is a delicious and healthy alternative to store-bought spreads. It's easy to make, requires only a few ingredients, and is perfect for those following a keto diet.

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the almonds on a baking sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
  2. Allow the almonds to cool for a few minutes, then transfer them to a food processor.
  3. Process the almonds until they become a coarse powder. This should take about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the coconut oil and sea salt to the food processor. Continue to process until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. This can take up to 10 minutes, depending on the power of your food processor.
  5. Once the almond butter is at your desired consistency, transfer it to a jar and store in the refrigerator.
