Keto Meatloaf[edit | edit source]

Keto Meatloaf is a delicious and satisfying low-carb dish perfect for those following the ketogenic diet. Made with a blend of ground beef, pork, and flavorful seasonings, this keto-friendly meatloaf offers a high-protein, high-fat meal without the carbs found in traditional meatloaf recipes. By replacing breadcrumbs with almond flour and adding some extra ingredients, this meatloaf maintains a tender texture and robust flavor.

Ingredients[edit | edit source]

Instructions[edit | edit source]

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, almond flour, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, diced onion, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to a greased loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. If using sugar-free ketchup, spread it over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake the meatloaf for 60-75 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Tips[edit | edit source]

  • You can replace the ground pork with more ground beef or use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner meatloaf.
  • Feel free to add some chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, or other keto-friendly vegetables to the meatloaf mixture for added flavor and texture.
  • For an extra kick, you can mix in a bit of hot sauce or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • If you don't have sugar-free ketchup, you can use a mixture of tomato paste, vinegar, and a keto-friendly sweetener like erythritol or stevia.
