Keto Beef with Gravy and Cabbage Mash[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 500g beef
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 head of cabbage
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the butter and melt. Add the garlic powder and onion powder and stir until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Return the beef to the pan and cover. Cook for about 30 minutes, or until the beef is tender.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare the cabbage mash. Cut the cabbage into chunks and boil until tender. Drain and return to the pot.
- Add the heavy cream to the cabbage and mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the beef with the gravy and cabbage mash on the side.
