Keto Caprese Omelet is a delicious and nutritious breakfast option for those following a Keto diet. It combines the classic flavors of a Caprese salad with the protein-packed goodness of an omelet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 3 Eggs
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup Basil leaves, fresh
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Beat the eggs in a bowl until well mixed.
- Heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Pour the beaten eggs into the pan, tilting to spread evenly.
- When the omelet begins to cook and firm up, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and fresh basil leaves over the eggs.
- Fold the omelet in half with a spatula and cook for another minute, or until the cheese is melted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Keto Caprese Omelet hot.
