Keto Caramelized Endives is a delicious and healthy dish that is perfect for those following a keto diet. This recipe is easy to prepare and is packed with nutrients.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 4 endives
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of erythritol
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Cut the endives in half lengthwise.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the endives to the skillet, cut side down.
- Sprinkle the erythritol over the endives and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the endives for about 10 minutes, until they are golden brown.
- Turn the endives over and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Cover the skillet and cook for about 15 minutes, until the endives are tender.
- Remove the endives from the skillet and drizzle with lemon juice.
