- Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk until the yolks and whites are fully combined.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and coat the bottom of the pan.
- Pour the whisked eggs into the pan and let them cook undisturbed until they start to set around the edges.
- Sprinkle the cheese evenly over one half of the omelet, then fold the other half over the cheese.
- Continue to cook until the cheese is melted and the omelet is fully set.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
