Keto Hot Dog Buns[edit | edit source]
Keto hot dog buns are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional hot dog buns. They are low in carbs and high in fiber, making them perfect for those following a keto diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 1/2 cups of almond flour
- 5 tablespoons of psyllium husk powder
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup of boiling water
- 3 egg whites
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and sea salt.
- Add the apple cider vinegar and egg whites to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Slowly add the boiling water to the mixture while stirring.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and shape each part into a bun.
- Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Allow the buns to cool before slicing and serving.
