Keto Mushroom Cheese Frittata is a delicious and nutritious dish that is perfect for those following a keto diet. This recipe is easy to prepare and packed with flavors from mushrooms, cheese, and eggs.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft and browned.
- Pour the egg mixture over the mushrooms in the skillet.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the egg mixture.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the frittata is set and the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
