Keto Oven Pancake with Bacon and Onion[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- Bacon - 200 grams
- Onion - 1 medium
- Eggs - 4 large
- Almond Flour - 1 cup
- Heavy Cream - 1/2 cup
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Chop the bacon into small pieces and dice the onion.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the bacon and onion and cook until the bacon is crispy and the onion is translucent.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, almond flour, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and onion in the skillet, making sure to distribute it evenly.
- Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pancake is set and lightly browned on top.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
