Keto Thanksgiving Turkey Stuffing Gravy[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 turkey neck and giblets
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of almond flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- In a large saucepan, combine the turkey neck and giblets with the chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
- Remove the turkey neck and giblets from the broth and set aside to cool. Once cool, chop the giblets and discard the neck.
- In the same saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the almond flour and whisk until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the broth, then add the chopped giblets, salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, until the gravy is thickened.
