Keto vegan tofu scramble
Keto Vegan Tofu Scramble[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 block of extra firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of black salt (kala namak)
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of bell peppers, diced
- 1/2 cup of onions, diced
- 1/2 cup of tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast
- Salt to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Press the tofu to remove excess water. Crumble it into small pieces.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers. Sauté until they are soft.
- Add the crumbled tofu to the pan. Stir well to combine with the vegetables.
- Add the turmeric, black salt, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to evenly distribute the spices.
- Add the tomatoes and nutritional yeast. Stir well to combine. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot. Enjoy your Keto Vegan Tofu Scramble!
