- Kitty Hawk, NC is a small town located in Dare County, North Carolina, United States. It is best known as the location of the Wright Brothers' first controlled, sustained flight of a powered, heavier-than-air aircraft. Kitty Hawk became world-renowned after the Wright Brothers made their historic flight on December 17, 1903.

- Kitty Hawk is located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, a string of barrier islands that stretch from the Virginia border to the southern tip of North Carolina. The town is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Currituck Sound to the west.
