- Landis is a small town located in Rowan County, North Carolina, United States. It was incorporated in 1909 and named after one of its founders, John Landis. The town is part of the Salisbury Metropolitan Statistical Area.

- Landis is located in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. It is approximately 33 miles northeast of Charlotte and 10 miles south of Salisbury.

- As of the 2010 census, the town had a total population of 3,109. The racial makeup of the town was 89.5% White, 6.2% African American, 0.3% Native American, 0.9% Asian, 1.8% from other races, and 1.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.4% of the population.
