This is a delicious and healthy keto friendly recipe for Low Carb Chicken a la Queen. It's a perfect dish for those who are following a low-carb diet or a ketogenic diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 lbs chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook until they are golden brown on both sides.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onions, garlic, and bell peppers. Cook until they are soft.
- Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring it to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and add the heavy cream. Stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve the Chicken a la Queen hot.
