Low Carb Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake Mousse[edit | edit source]
This is a delicious and easy to make keto friendly dessert that is perfect for the holiday season or any time you want a sweet treat. The combination of chocolate and peppermint is a classic one that is sure to please everyone.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 cup of Heavy Cream
- 8 oz of Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cup of Erythritol
- 1/2 cup of Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp of Peppermint Extract
- 1/2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
- Dark Chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth and creamy.
- Add the erythritol, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and beat until well combined.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Garnish with dark chocolate shavings before serving, if desired.
