Low Carb Onion Rings[edit | edit source]
Low Carb Onion Rings are a delicious, keto-friendly alternative to traditional onion rings. They are made with almond flour and parmesan cheese for a low carb, high protein snack.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the almond flour, parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each onion ring into the beaten eggs, then coat in the almond flour mixture. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite low carb dipping sauce.
