Low carb pav bhaji
Low Carb Pav Bhaji[edit | edit source]
Low Carb Pav Bhaji is a keto-friendly version of the popular Indian street food, Pav Bhaji. This recipe substitutes the high-carb ingredients with low-carb alternatives, making it suitable for a keto diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 medium bell pepper, diced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 inch of ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 tablespoon of Pav Bhaji Masala
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnish
- 2 Low Carb Buns for serving
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Steam the cauliflower florets until they are soft.
- In a pan, melt the butter and sauté the onions, ginger, and garlic until the onions are translucent.
- Add the bell pepper and tomatoes to the pan and cook until they are soft.
- Mash the steamed cauliflower and add it to the pan.
- Add the Pav Bhaji Masala and salt to the pan and mix well. Cook for another 5-10 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with the low carb buns.
