Low Carb Sloppy Joes is a delicious and healthy keto friendly recipe. It is a perfect meal for those who are on a low-carb diet or ketogenic diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup Green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Stevia or other low-carb sweetener
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves for serving
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and green bell pepper over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink.
- Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, stevia, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve the sloppy joe mixture on lettuce leaves.
