Low Carb Stuffed Cabbage Rolls are a delicious and healthy option for those following a keto diet. This recipe is packed with protein and fiber, and is low in carbs, making it a perfect meal for those on a ketogenic diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 12 large cabbage leaves
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large pot of boiling water, blanch the cabbage leaves until they are soft and pliable, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, egg, almond flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
- Place a portion of the meat mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Roll up the leaf, tucking in the sides as you go.
- Place the cabbage rolls seam-side down in a baking dish. Pour the tomato sauce and water over the rolls.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour, or until the cabbage is tender and the meat is cooked through.
