Low carb sushi rolls
Low Carb Sushi Rolls[edit | edit source]
A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional sushi, these low carb sushi rolls are perfect for those following a keto diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 cup of cauliflower rice
- 2 sheets of nori
- 1/2 cup of avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup of cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 cup of smoked salmon
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- Soy sauce for dipping (optional)
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Prepare the cauliflower rice according to the package instructions.
- Lay out a sheet of nori on a sushi mat or a piece of plastic wrap.
- Spread half of the cauliflower rice evenly over the nori, leaving about 1 inch at the top.
- Lay half of the avocado, cucumber, and smoked salmon over the cauliflower rice.
- Roll the sushi tightly, using the mat or plastic wrap to help. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- Slice the sushi rolls into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Serve with soy sauce for dipping, if desired.
