- Midland is a small town located in the southern part of Cabarrus County, North Carolina, United States. The town is part of the Charlotte Metropolitan Area and is known for its rich history and peaceful, rural atmosphere. Midland is named for its location, halfway between Charlotte and Albemarle.

- Midland was incorporated on March 16, 2000, and has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. The town is home to the Reed Gold Mine, the site of the first documented commercial gold find in the United States.
