Mild curry seasoning
Mild Curry Seasoning (Keto Friendly)[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 tablespoons of coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds
- 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, and mustard seeds until they start to pop and become fragrant. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the toasted spices to a spice grinder or a mortar and pestle. Add the black peppercorns and grind everything together until it forms a fine powder.
- In a small bowl, combine the ground spices with the turmeric powder, cayenne pepper, and ground ginger. Mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed.
- Store the mild curry seasoning in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. It can be used immediately or stored for up to 6 months.
