Orange Braised Pork (Keto Friendly)[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 kg pork shoulder, cut into chunks
- 2 oranges, zested and juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the pork chunks and brown on all sides. Remove the pork and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the onion and garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add the orange zest and juice, chicken broth, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Return the pork to the pot. Cover and simmer for 2-3 hours, or until the pork is tender and the flavors are well combined.
- Serve the orange braised pork with your favorite keto-friendly sides.
