Post Foods
Post Foods, LLC is a North American consumer packaged goods company, specializing in breakfast cereals and other breakfast food items. It was established in 1895 by C. W. Post, making it one of the oldest cereal companies in the world.

Post Foods was founded by C. W. Post in 1895 in Battle Creek, Michigan, under the name Postum Cereals. Their first product was a cereal beverage called Postum. In 1897, the company introduced Grape-Nuts, which was the first popular product that could be considered a breakfast cereal.
In 1929, Postum Cereals became General Foods Corporation, which was later acquired by Philip Morris Companies in 1985. In 2007, it was spun off into its own company under the name Post Foods, LLC.
Products[edit | edit source]
Post Foods produces a variety of breakfast cereals, including Grape-Nuts, Honey Bunches of Oats, Fruity Pebbles, and Golden Crisp. They also produce a line of hot cereals, such as Better Oats and Malt-O-Meal.
In addition to cereals, Post Foods also manufactures other breakfast food items, such as Toaster Pastries and Breakfast Bars.
