This is a recipe for a quick and easy low carb bread that is perfect for those following a keto diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 cup of almond flour
- 3 tablespoons of psyllium husk powder
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of warm water
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and sea salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until they are fluffy.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the eggs, mixing well after each addition.
- Slowly add the warm water to the mixture, stirring until the dough is thick and sticky.
- Pour the dough into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
