Sesame Roasted Scallops with Wasabi Mayonnaise[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 12 large scallops
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon wasabi paste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Rinse the scallops and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Toss the scallops in the sesame oil, then sprinkle them with the sesame seeds, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange the scallops on a baking sheet and roast them in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until they are opaque and cooked through.
- While the scallops are roasting, mix the mayonnaise and wasabi paste together in a small bowl.
- Serve the roasted scallops with the wasabi mayonnaise on the side.
