This is a delicious and easy-to-make keto friendly recipe for Sugar Free Cranberry Sauce. It's perfect for those who are on a low-carb diet and want to enjoy a traditional holiday dish without the added sugars.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1 cup erythritol or other sugar substitute
- 1 cup water
- Zest and juice of one orange
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Rinse the cranberries and discard any that are soft or wrinkled.
- Combine the cranberries, erythritol, water, orange zest, orange juice, and cinnamon in a medium saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries have popped and the sauce has thickened.
- Let the sauce cool before serving. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
