  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Season the turkey with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with strips of bacon.
  4. Place the pan in the oven and roast the turkey for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. While the turkey is roasting, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Add the chicken broth to the saucepan and bring it to a simmer.
  7. Once the broth is simmering, add the heavy cream and stir until the gravy is smooth.
  8. When the turkey is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 15 minutes before carving.
  9. Serve the turkey with the bacon gravy.
