HBeAg
HBeAg is a hepatitis B viral marker and an antigen produced by the hepatitis B virus. It is an indicator of active viral replication, meaning the person infected with the virus is more likely to transmit the virus onto others.

The HBeAg is a serological marker in the blood used to diagnose hepatitis B infection. It is part of the hepatitis B virus and is produced when the virus is actively replicating. However, the absence of this antigen does not rule out the presence of the hepatitis B virus, as it may be present in a non-replicating state.
