Patty Schnyder (born 14 December 1978) is a Swiss former professional tennis player. She played on the WTA tour from 1993 to 2011 and returned in 2015 before retiring again in 2018. Schnyder reached number 7 in the world rankings, and won 11 singles titles.

Urs Schnyder (born 1958) is a Swiss composer and conductor. He is known for his work in contemporary classical music.
