| Description | The falcon stands for the origin and the vision of the University.
The national bird of the UAE with excellent vision symbolizes orientation of the University. The sharp vision that leads to a better tomorrow both in academics and healthcare. The caduceus is a symbol that traces its origins sometime between 3000 and 4000 BC and it might have been the source of the modern medical symbol. Today, the logo of medical science is the Caduceus and is an integral part of this logo. The rising Sun represents ever growing knowledge and a leading light for this whole structure consisting of the Falcon and the Caduceus to co-exist and excel in every avenue of education, research and healthcare. The shield is a representation that stands for solidity, value and growth beyond. The importance of the shield in the communication spearheads the feeling of trust and protection in academics or in the healthcare segment. In academics its a protection from immoral education and in healthcare its a protection from illness. |
