Use in article (WP:NFCC#7) | Everywhere at the End of Time |
Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | to illustrate the style of Stage 6 and its final drone. Per [1] [2] and [3], Stage 6, as the last release by Kirby, rather than the noise compositions of his two previous albums, mainly consists of drone with a final organ drone in its last 15 minutes, and a choral in its last six minutes. It increases the reader's understanding of not only the album itself, but also its conclusion.
Normally, this audio sample would present the choral segment of the last track, which sources [4] [5] and [6] said was emotionally impactful. However that segment is very different from the rest of the stage, so the organ is used here as a middle term (as observed by "InvalidOS" here). The organ is similar to the rest of Stage 6 in that it is a drone, but also similar to the choral segment in that is not at a deep frequency. |
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1) |
The album is copyrighted; thus, there is no free alternative. |
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) | This audio sample is only used once in the article, is only used in one article, complies with lengths of WP:SAMPLE, and is of low quality when compared to its original MP3/FLAC counterpart on Bandcamp. |
