Arteria ophthalmica

Arteria Ophthalmica is a major blood vessel that originates from the internal carotid artery. It is responsible for supplying blood to the eye and its surrounding structures.

The Arteria Ophthalmica is the first branch of the internal carotid artery after it has passed through the cavernous sinus. It travels through the optic canal with the optic nerve to reach the orbit.
