Levator labii superioris alaeque nasi is a skeletal muscle that originates at frontal process of the maxilla Inserts to nostril and upper lip, and is supplied by (artery, nerve) and actions include superior labial artery buccal branch of facial nerve [CNVII] dilates the nostril; elevates the upper lip and wing of the nose.
