Definition[edit | edit source]

The term esoteric is derived from the Greek word esôterikos, which means "inner". It is often used to describe knowledge that is meant to be kept hidden or secret from the general public. This can include spiritual, philosophical, or scientific knowledge that is not widely known or understood.

Esotericism[edit | edit source]

Esotericism or Esoterism is a multi-disciplinary field of spiritual knowledge and practices which are not widely known or practiced by the general public.
