Survivors of war and genocide are individuals who have lived through violent conflicts and mass killings. These individuals may have experienced extreme trauma, including physical injury, psychological trauma, and the loss of family and community.
Survivorship[edit | edit source]
Survivorship refers to the process of living beyond a significant event or ordeal. This can involve physical recovery, psychological healing, and the rebuilding of one's life. Survivorship can also involve advocacy and activism, as many survivors use their experiences to raise awareness and effect change.
