Organ | Epithelial Type | Description |

Skin | Stratified Squamous Epithelium | Protects the body from external factors and helps regulate body temperature. |
Lungs | Simple Squamous Epithelium | Facilitates the exchange of gases between the air and blood in the alveoli. |
Stomach | Simple Columnar Epithelium | Secretes digestive enzymes and absorbs nutrients from food. |
Intestines | Simple Columnar Epithelium | Absorbs nutrients from digested food and helps in the process of digestion. |
